The manga series, "Gota Keshi: Jidan Koushonin Shirai Torajiro", by Shuntarou Osawa will be adapted into a prime-time drama! Renamed as "Jidan Koushonin Gota Keshi", the drama will air on Yomiuri TV and NTV at 11:58 PM, starting January 6th, 2011.
Akihiro Nishino (of the comedy duo 'King Kong')�will play the main character, 'Torajiro Shirai', who's also known as�"Gota-Keshi Byakko". Shirai is a professional negotiator who can penetrate deep into the thoughts of others and analyze them; thus, he's quite successful in disputing conflicts.
Other stars for the drama include actress Shiori Kutsuna, who will play Shirai's assistant 'Akino Sakura', and comedian Gori (of comedy duo 'Garage Sale'), who will play the bar owner, 'Shingo Fuji'.
The original manga series started back in 2008 through the tokubon "Super Jump". "Gota Keshi" released its fifth volume last month.
