SUGIZO sends a message to his U.S. 'Slaves'

allkpop

Sugizo of rock band Luna Sea and recently, X Japan, has posted a video message for all of Luna Sea's American Slaves. For those of you who are raising an eyebrow and wondering if Sugizo has somehow crossed the threshold of ethics, 'Slave' is the official fan club name for Luna Sea fans.

In any case, his video message was recorded entirely in English, and through it, Sugizo thanks his fans for waiting "so long" for their first concert in America. He also apologizes for the fact that it's the only show they will do in the States so far, but it will mark Luna Sea's first steps into the States.

"There are no borders in music, and through music we all become one," Sugizo reminded.

The American concert is actually one of the stops in Luna Sea's 20th anniversary tour. The band started out in 1988 and debuted on Yoshiki's independent label, Extasy Records, before moving on to MCA Records and Universal Records. 12 years later, in 2000, Luna Sea disbanded due to members want to pursue individual projects.

After 10 years, the band decided to reunite and embark on a world tour starting from August 30th, 2010. They'll be stopping by in Los Angeles on December 4th to perform live at theHollywood Palladium. For those fans who weren't able to score tickets but still want to scope out the scene, the Luna Sea World Wide Street Team will be holding a fan meeting at Hollywood Palladium.Check out their Facebook for more information.

Most importantly, be sure to check out Sugizo's messagehere!
