Singer misono has teamed up with Hello Kitty brand, SANRIO, to create a new character for their 20th anniversary.

Called "sonemi", the�character was launched on December 19th at SANRIO PUROLAND. During the talk portion of the event, misono revealed that she brainstormed with SANRIO designer, Yamaguchi Yuuko, for the design.

"Although I thought of using a pig, I thought that bunnies are cuter, so I started to draw it and then gave it to the designer. I'm so happy, and I'm looking forward to it!", said misono.

The event ran for two hours, and 2,000 fans were delighted when all the Sanrio characters appeared on stage with their idol. Fan favorites like Hello Kitty, Bad Badtz Maru, KeroKero Keroppi, and Hangy Don all delivered a fun atmosphere for the crowd.

In the spirit of the holidays, misono also took pictures with her fans in order to make it a memorable Christmas experience.
