VAMPS finish 2010 "BEAST" tour

allkpop

On December 8th, rock duo VAMPS held the final performance of their "VAMPS LIVE 2010 BEAST" tour at the Yoyogi Stadium in Tokyo.

The tour was one of their longest lasting ever, taking them all over the world and clocking in at 75 total shows. VAMPS performed a wide range of songs from their albums "VAMPS" and "BEAST", and even shocked the audience with some Western music covers. The stadium featured giant LED screens on three sides that played videos of flames to add to the intense atmosphere for the 12,000 excited fans in the audience.

HYDE acted as MC for the night and thanked all the fans at the concert profusely for attending. He admitted that the band had only been together for two and a half years, but they have already been able to do so much because of the fans. He added, "We are more than just an artist and their fans. We are companions. I will make another live like this." Guitarist KAZ said, "It's thanks to everyone that we have made it here. We will meet again." Even the support band of JIN (key), Ju-ken (Bass), and Arimatsu (Dr) thanked the happy audience.

Although their 2010 tour is over, VAMPS is certainly not going to have a long break. They will be touring again in 2011 and WOWOW network has announced that they will show their "BEAUTY & THE BEAST" show at Yoyogi Statium on air on January 7th. It will be a totally different tour, so fans should look forward to it!
