Annual anisong concert Ani Uta has just announced which performers will be appearing at its event!

Kageyama Hironobu, known for his contributions to the long-running anime "Dragonball Z," will be in attendance, along with otaku idol Nakagawa Shoko and female rock band SCANDAL.� SCANDAL's "Shoujo S" was the opening theme to "BLEACH." Other performers include ELISA, FictionJunction YUUKA, Yonekura Chihiro, Kalafina and Yoshioka Aika, all of whom will be making their appearance at Ani Uta for the first time.

"Ani Uta KITAKYUSHU 2011" will be held on February 12 at the Kitakyushu Media Dome. In 2009, the live performances coincided with the ten year anniversary of the venue, resulting in the largest anisong event in the area. This year, Ani Uta will help to celebrate the twelve year anniversary of Kitakyushu's local manga museum. Plans have been made to make Ani Uta into a large multicultural event involving other Asian countries in the area.
