On January 16th, six member idol group, Momoiro Clover held an event for their upcoming single "Mirai Ball" (set to be released on March 9th) in Chiba, and at the event, the sub-leader of the group, Hayami Akari announced that she will withdraw from the group in April.
According to Hayami, her withdrawal is the decision she came to after much consideration, as she thought that there should be more suitable ways for her to live than being an idol. The fans who attended the event were seething at this sudden announcement. To the fans, Hayami explained withtearfuleyes, "My personality is not suitable to be an idol, and I was thinking that I should not be in 'Momoclo.' There was also a time when I had disliked 'Momoclo.' However, this will not be a waste of my life. 'Momoclo' will sure be in my heart as a precious memory."
The leader of the group, Momota Kanako was informed of the withdrawal by Hayami 3 days ago, and she said, "I had no words to say. To be honest, I really wanted to aim for 'Kohaku' with these 6 members. However, Akarin's life is hers. All we can do is to support her with all our hearts."
Hayami will withdraw from the group after the live at Nakano Sun Plaza which will be held on April 10th.
