Actress Takanashi Rin (22) recently made a guest appearance on the highly popular variety show "Ametaaalk!!"

If you are one of the few fans of TV Tokyo's midnight comedy sci-fi drama, "Uchu Inu Sakusen" that aired last season, you are probably already aware of the cute and dorky actress who played the android, 'Ohana'. Unfortunately, TV Tokyo live-action dramas aren't really much help in boosting popularity, thus she was always as an underrated actress... Until her recent appearance on "Ametaaalk!!", which may have just changed her career completely around.

Takanashi must have been quite overwhelmed when she checked back at her blog after the show had aired, because suddenly her most recent post had more than 2,000 comments. �Normally her entries received around 50 comments. Most of her new fans commented things like: "I saw you on Ametaaalk!! You are extremely cute!!", "You are my favorite now!" and "You'll become really popular now! I know it!"



Her "old" fans have been the first to comment on the recent boost of popularity and were delighted to see their Takanashi receiving so much praise. One of them wrote, "More than 2,000 comments. Amazing! You are feeling more distant now though... I have been a fan since your appearance on 'Samurai Sentai Shinkenger', but I'm still really happy for the increase of fans. Please keep on working hard from now on!!"

Two days later Takanashi finally had a chance to look at her blog and thanked all the people who posted a comment. Of course she knows that it doesn't mean that her popularity is going to skyrocket now, but she was happy that at least a few more people have started to recognize her.

Although the amount of comments have decreased since, it looks like she now has a steady base of at least 500 comments per post. �Either way, we're looking forward to seeing a lot more of her!
