Yesterday, tokyohive reported that Eita�s father committed suicide on February 16th. Additional details have since been revealed, as more and more people have begun commenting on the tragedy.

The media discovered the contents of the final message that Eita's father had left behind in the room he committed suicide in. The father�s last message read, �Eita, you will be the chief mourner and I�m really sorry for troubling you�. According to Eita's aunt (who found the remains of her younger brother), Eita's father has been having troubles managing his yakiniku shop lately. The year before last, Eita�s father had an operation on a hernia in his head, which unfortunately wasn�t successful. Consequently, he has been suffering from insomnia.

Eita's father left behind three sons: Eita, Kento, and Tatsuya. Proudly, he named his yakiniku shop after the three of them,��Edoya�. A person close to them commented, �They weren�t always together, but at the end of every year the entire family would eat a meal together, including their mother.�

According to residents in the neighborhood, the yakiniku shop had posted a message on the 16th which read, �Due to circumstances, we will be closed for awhile.� Generally the father was a very composed man, but after entering this year, the shop management started to go bad and caused him problems.

On the day of the suicide, Eita was in the mountains filming for a project. According to his representatives,��He found out about the death, but he didn�t want to burden those around him. He decided to continue filming for the 17th�and 18th�as planned. However, he seemed to be extremely shocked, as expected�. After he finished shooting on the 18th, he headed back to Tokyo late at night. Sadly, it was the first time that he and his wife, singer Kimura Kaela, met his father together.

Kento also attended the Japanese Academy Awards without telling those around him about what happened. When the news broke during the ceremony, he didn�t comment to anyone.

The wake and funeral service dates are currently unknown, but it's likely that they will surface over the coming days.
