2PM set to release Japanese debut single in May

allkpop

Six member "beastly idol" group 2PM is set to release their Japanese debut single "Take Off" on May 18th. This will be the group's first single sung entirely in Japanese. They've been looking back at the Korean lyrics and practicing their Japanese pronunciations to better express the emotions of the song.

This upcoming single has also been chosen as the ending theme song for a new anime titled "Ao no Exorcist." This anime is a new anime series set to start airing on April 10th on TBS.

The single will include a total of 4 songs along with their hit song "Heartbeat." It will be released in four different editions. The first time limited edition will be separated into version A and version B. Version A will include the music video for "Take Off" while the version B will come with a never before seen photo album. There will also be an anime version and a regular version. All versions, except for the anime version, will come with a ticket to a high five event. One out of seven tickets will be included in these versions.

Keep a look out for more information about the single!
