One week ago, talent agency HoriPro started to use Youtube and NicoNicoDouga as a way to mentally and financially support the victims of the Great Tohoku Earthquake.
At first, they started to upload short animated clips featuring well-known folktales recited by some of their talents. Shortly after that more clips of talents reciting a folktale have been uploaded to the streaming sites, even though they weren't able to produce more animated clips in such a short amount of time. Then on March 18th the agency itself announced that they donated a total of 57.5 million Yen to the disaster relief.
Two days ago they began to upload even more clips onto Youtube and NicoNicoDouga, but this time they are seeking for financial support for the victims of the earthquake and tsunamis. Up until a couple of hours ago, the agency has already uploaded the individual clips of 144 talents and counting. Be sure to check the clips of some of your favorite celebrities and follow the details as mentioned in the clips in order to donate to their foundation titled "Ano Kane wo Narasu no wa Anata Foundation".
Below are a few examples of some actors, but do not forget to check out their official Youtube channel here to watch even more clips.
