Recently,�AKB48 member Kashiwagi Yuki, who is also part of their sub-unit French Kiss, unintentionally revealed on her blog that she has been lip-syncing most of the time until now.

She didn't exactly write it out like this on her blog, but the fact that she confessed that she used an ear-monitor for the first time during French Kiss' performance on the "MUSIC FAIR" show that was recorded on April 13th, basically indicates that she never got to sing live in the idol group before. An ear-monitor is an earphone that lets you hear your own voice during a performance, and is essential to singers who are performing live.

On the show, French Kiss got to sing their new coupling song, "Kimi Nara Daijoubu", performed "Omoide no Kujukurihama" together with Utoku Keiko, and Kashiwagi herself even had the chance to sing "Ii hi Tabidachi" as a duet together with Tokunaga Hideaki.

She wrote, "All the songs were sung live, there even was a live band... It was the first time I was using an ear monitor to hear my voice." Further she added, "Today was one of my top 5 experiences I ever had since entering AKB48."

Of course, she can't just write that she or AKB48 in general are lip-syncing most of the time during their concerts and TV performances, since the fans of idol groups like AKB48 like to believe that their idols are always singing live. However, even by not directly revealing their lip-syncing, the fact that she was so nervous and excited about singing live and using a ear monitor is making the case pretty clear.

The good thing in her case is that she actually seems to enjoy singing live. She wrote, "I was really, really nervous, but it was a really great day for me. It made me once again realize that I truly love singing."

The mentioned "MUSIC FAIR" performances will air on April 23rd and April 30th.
