It recently was revealed that actress Sawajiri Erika and her soon-to-be ex-husband, media creator Takashiro Tsuyoshi, finally settled all the details regarding their divorce and will be finalized on May 16th.

Now the weekly tabloid "Josei Jisin" was able to find out what she is up to, since the divorce issue finally seems to be off the table, and even got wind of a possible comeback project that is currently being organized.

The tabloid was able to get a hold of the actress in mid-April, when she left her home and used a taxi to drive to a certain high-class luxurious apartment. "Recently people often saw her going in and out of that new apartment," a resident near the apartment revealed, "she even already came here with her mother."

Later the reporter of the tabloid even witnessed how she bought some new high-class furniture at a nearby store.

A customer that was present at the time commented, "I immediately knew that it was Sawajiri Erika, seeing her with those big sunglasses and deep red high heels. She looked around at the beds and the curtains and also had a very long talk with the employees."

After that she checked out various oitems at a general store and yet another store related to interior design. With full bags she got back into a taxi again and returned back to that apartment.

A friend of Sawajiri Erika's mother eventually revealed that she is currently living with her mother and that she is indeed busy moving into a new apartment. It seems like she really wants to start a new life once the divorce is over and of course a new apartment helps her to focus on her new circumstances.

Those new circumstances not only includes a newfound solitary life, but also a long overdue comeback as an actress, well-known entertainment reporter Shiroshita Takayuki revealed.

He said, "I heard that Takashiro already gave her the divorce papers and that all she has to do is to hand them in at the arranged date. Moreover I heard that it has already been decided that she is going to star in the live-action adaption of a popular manga."

It is not yet known what manga we are talking about here and we will probably have to wait until after her divorce for an official announcement, but what are months compared to the three and a half years we have been waiting for her comeback since her last movie "Closed Note" in 2007?
