The highly-loved game "Pop Up Pirate" from Takara Tomy is revamping its look with some new inspiration. The game will replicate the image of Japan's popular columnist,�Matsuko Deluxe.

Instead of the pirate in the usual, players will stab Matsuko Deluxe with a toy knife, who will yell one out of 15 quotes. You can hear her shout,"Hurry up and start already" or "You're my type, you know!".

Although it's a little macabre, some players will get to enjoy the thrill of having Matsuko Deluxe scold them while attempting to keep her in the barrel at all costs.



The Matsuko Deluxe version of "Pop-up Pirate" will be released on April 21st at a retail price of 3150 yen (around $40 USD).
