One of Japan's most renowned rock bands, known by the very fitting name X JAPAN, have announced an extension of their world tour, which is set to begin this year.

Band member YOSHIKI took to social networking site Twitter to announce the exciting news of new dates and a chance to meet fans far beyond the band's native country. Among the new additions are Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and more.

The group will begin the world tour in London, England on June 28th and will take their show to the Netherlands, France, and Germany before returning to Japan in August and traveling to the newly added stops in September.
