On May 27th, actor Yamamoto Taro revealed over his official Twitter that he has left his agency.
"I left my agency today!", he tweeted at about 9:00 PM, followed by another tweet reading, "It kept going on, and the president and all the staff asked me over and over again to stay. In the end, they heard out my selfishness."
Although the tweets seem quite innocuous, potential links have been made to previous statements he made over Twitter in April.
After participating in an anti-nuclear power demonstration, Yamamoto confessed that he had been removed from a role in an upcoming drama because of continuing complaints about his involvement in the anti-nuclear power movement. Shortly afterwards, Yamamoto announced over Twitter that he had left his agency.
Do you think this is merely a coincidence, or did he really leave over the issue of nuclear power?
