Filipino singer Charice, who released her first international studio album "Charice" back in 2010, will provide the theme song for NTV's upcoming drama "Bull Doctor".

As revealed the other day, "Bull Doctor" stars Esumi Makiko, Ishihara Satomi and Inagaki Goro in a mystery drama and the producers of the drama were so charmed by Charice's voice that they sent her the offer to sing the theme song.

She accepted the offer and it was decided that an entirely Japanese team would produce her song titled "FarAsTheSky". The team includes Tanaka Yusuke, a well-known composer for artists such as AKB48, Ikimono-gakari, YUKI, Nakashima Mika and others, as well as Honma Akimitsu, who already arranged the songs of Porno Graffitti, Hamasaki Ayumi and many more.

"It's a song that will make you believe that there will always be a tomorrow," Charice commented, "I hope this song will lift up the spirits of everyone in Japan."

Esumi Makiko got enchanted by her voice as well and stated, "She indeed is a miracle with her powerful and distinct voice. The fact that she is pushing forward without hesitation is perfectly overlapping with the setting of the drama and it became a really wonderful song. I'm totally impressed!"

"FarAsTheSky" will become available as a digital single on July 6th.
