allkpop

It has been revealed that GACKT will be featured as a voice actor and singer in the TV Tokyo anime "SKET DANCE"!

GACKT will be portraying the character of Dante, lead vocalist for visual kei band, JardiN. The writer of the original manga, Shinohara Kenta, commented that GACKT was the inspiration behind the character of Dante, so it is very fitting to have GACKT be the voice of the character. Sharing his thoughts about playing the role of Dante, GACKT commented, "He said he wants me to bring my image up front so I thought that I will do my best not to change my image."

After I finished recording, I told the producer that you'll never find a high school teen this talented."
