After announcing pop group�Kalafina as their first musical guest of honor, Anime Expo is gearing up to bring over one of Akihabara's newest sensations, Kurosaki Maon.

The pop singer debuted as a member of "Dear Stage", which is a live & bar in Akihabara. She soon signed to Geneon Universal in 2010 and released her first album, "H.O.T.D.". The album contains all the ending theme songs to the popular anime, "HIGH SCHOOL OF THE DEAD". She then later released her first single, "Magic?world", which is the theme song to anime, "To Aru Manjutsu no Index II". Her second album release is scheduled for this August, and is a collection of ending theme songs for the anime series, "Hakuoki OVA".

Kurosaki will make her U.S. debut at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on July 3rd. She will also be participating in a meet-and-greet and autograph session at Anime Expo.
