A couple weeks ago, preliminary results for AKB48's 3rd Senbatsu General Election were revealed, but those totals will likely have little bearing on what's about to transpire today, as the final tallies will finally be announced!

Who would you have voted for or who did you vote for?

---

Voting started for this election on May 24th and they just ended yesterday on June 8th. The election itself encompasses AKB48 members and research students (70 total), SKE48 members (57 total), and NMB48 members (25 total), for a total of 152 people in all.

The members elected to the top 21 spots will be featured in AKB48’s 22nd single, while 22~40 place will form a unit called “Undergirls” and sing the B-side track.

Where does your favorite currently stand?

Check back often because we're live updating and results are coming soon (about 6 AM EST, speculatively)!
