Singer MINMI has announced the release of a brand new album, "THE HEART SONG COLLECTION"!

Her latest concept album is the continuation of the her 2007 album "THE LOVE SONG COLLECTION 2006-2007", and will feature covers of songs such as Ozaki Yutaka's "OH MY LITTLE GIRL", Nakashima Miyuki's "Ito", and H2O's "Omoide ga Ippai". Fans can purchase the album in two different versions: a CD+DVD version and a regular CD-only version.

"THE HEART SONG COLLECTION" is scheduled to hit stores on August 24th, but the tracks "Kiseki" and "Requiem" have already been released digitally as of June 22nd. The songs "OH MY LITTLE GIRL", "Ito", and "Omoide ga Ippai" will also be released in a digital format prior to its release in August.

"This album is a concept album that continues 'THE LOVE SONG COLLECTION', and I wanted to convey how nice it is that it's different from an original album, so I covered many famous songs that I saw off the days of my youth with," said MINMI about her upcoming album. "The songs just overflow with heart, whether you're listening to them or singing them. Music that opens the doors of your heart... I wanted to stuff full of only songs like those, so I titled it 'THE HEART SONG COLLECTION'."

MINMI will also be heading on her first tour in five years beginning on October 2nd. There are currently twenty-six live house performances and five 'special lives' scheduled until early December.
