Japanese comedian Neko Hiroshi participated in an international half marathon held in Cambodia on June 18th, where he competed with around 1600 people from 18 countries. With a time of 1 hour 16 minutes 54 seconds, he placed second, winning the silver medal. The gold medal went to a Cambodian runner.
Neko is well-known as a fast runner among celebrities. In addition to jogging every morning, he's also received training from a professional track coach. Since 2008, he completed the Tokyo Marathon four times.
The comedian has entered many half marathons abroad, in countries like Canada and Mongolia. Last December, he came in third at the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon, also held in Cambodia, with a time of 1 hour 16 minutes.
