Beginning in October 2011, the first new Gundam anime series in two years will begin airing on television!
The latest addition to the franchise will be titled "Mobile Suit Gundam AGE", and revolves around three main characters across multiple generations: Asuno Frit, his son Asuno Asemu, and his grandson Asuno Kio. Gaming company Level-5's president Hino Akihiro is said to be in charge of the story.
New plastic models and figurines will also be available to promote the new Gundam anime. Each will come with an internal IC chip that, when paired with other tools not included with the products, will allow fans to team up and play exclusive free games at special events and shops.
