Actor Tachi Hiroshi paid a visit to Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium in order to cheer and give encouragement to the Japanese national rugby team. The team is currently in practice camp gearing up for the world cup in September.

Tachi was a rugby player himself in his high school years in the Aichi prefecture and is still a big fan of the sport even till this day. Although he loves the sport itself, he mainly supports the Toyota Motors team. He is even good friends with head coach, John Kirwan, as they go golfing and horseback riding together.

As he watched the practice sessions he commented, "The game is different than when I used to play in high school, but it's more rational now". He also brought in a present of ohagi, a Japanese treat made of rice and azuki beans. Kikutani Takashi of the Toyota Motors team, as well as captain of the national team, commented, "Sweats are my favorite. We'll make the sugar our energy," thanking Tachi for bringing in the treat.
