Popular duo Yuzu announced on June 4th that they'll be providing the theme song to the yearly event, "Odaiba Gasshuukoku 2011 ~Bokura ga NIPPON Ouendan! ~UNITED STATE OF ODAIBA 2011~"!

The song, which is currently untitled, is said to be a support song that endorses the event's current message of supporting Tohoku in its recovery efforts and conserving electricity.

"I saw them at a live they held in Sendai between their tour dates after the earthquake and thought, 'I want to make a new Japan with these two people'," said the event producer about Yuzu. "I can just imagine their encouraging figures coming in contact with the townspeople without dressing themselves up (like celebrities)."


The yearly event will be held from July 16th until August 31st, and is organized by Fuji Television.
