On July 20th, AKB48�s Akimoto Sayaka and model Minami Akina attended the Ginza opening of �SAVOY�, a bag brand, at Matsuzakaya Ginza Store in Tokyo.

The two ladies came to this event dressed in vivid colored yukatas (a casual, summer kimonos) paired with some signature �SAVOY� bags.

Akimoto, who claim this is her first time wearing a yukata for this year, said, �I am thrilled about it. In AKB, it is fundamental to wear black so I am happy that this year I was able to wear a bright yukata.�

Minami also added, �Usually, I wear a lot of gold rings so I decided to choose a bag that had gold in it to match my accessories.�

When asked about the brands charm points and appeals, the two answered with, �I like how even though it is reasonably priced, the bags look like it could cost more than that.� - Minami �If I receive this as a present, I would be really happy. It is easy to carry and it is a fun and fashionable bags that girls can easily afford.� - Akimoto.

For their first impressions of the store, Minami stated, �Since it is a spacious store, it is easy to browse around.� Akimoto continued, �Since I am quite a fashionista, I often go to Matsuzakaya a lot. Since I do not buy anything over 5,000 yen (~ $63 USD), I am glad I can fit under the budget here.�



Speaking about their essentials to put in their bag, Minami answered with, �A digital camera for making memories.�

On the other hand, Akimoto responded with, �Definitely some cooling tissue wipes. I can share them among friends and it is absolutely essential for summer.� Adding to that response, Minami added, �Oh, that is important!� and agreed with her comments.

For the concluding statements, Akimoto stated, �Although I am usually told my clothes are unsophisticated and out of fashion, but since I like to be fashionable and inexpensive, I would like to continue to buy individualistic clothes just for me.� Minami added, �I am sure if you visit this store, you can find at least one item you like so please do visit �SAVOY�!� and advertised the store with her smile.

�SAVOY� Ginza store officially opens on July 21st.
