On July 20th, it was revealed that hip hop unit FUNKY MONKEY BABYS will collaborate with their senior group, Ketsumeishi, for a charity event aimed for the reconstruction efforts from the Tohoku earthquake back in March. They will be holding their event at Shibata, Miyagi Prefecture on September 10th at Kaze no Sogen Park. On this day, they will be performing their collaboration song.

FUNKY MONKEY BABYS was introduced to Ketsumeishi�s DJ KOHNO (34) by a Yokohama club owner back in 2004 when they were indie group. After their major debut in 2006, they had no opportunity to collaborate with them but decided to make that opportunity through this charity performance.

FUNKY Kato (32) of the FUNKY MONKEY BABYS said, �It was my objective to perform with our �senpai� whom we respect very much. For me, this is my dream stage!� As a response, Kestumeishi responded with, �So, who will be the one that will give strength to Tohoku the most? Oh~ I get it, well, we will hand it over to the �kouhai�, huh you BABYS!� and teased their junior group.
