Horipro holds their charity live, "Song for you"!

On July 18th and 19th, talent agency Horipro held a charity live titled �Song for you� at The Galaxy Theatre in Tokyo.

In front of 1,400 fans, veteran singer Wada Akiko said, �Energetic people like us will do our best to do whatever we can! The reconstruction aid will start after this. Please think of this as one big step and continue your support.Itano Tomomi of AKB48 also chipped in, �I'll do my best to become a veteran artist like Akko-san."

Other artists that participated at this event on the first day include Sakakibara Ikue, former AKB48 member Oshima Mai, May�n, Takeda Shinji, Fujiwara Dozan, and Okamoto Tomotaka.

During the live performance Wada performed a special medley as well as some of her hits, including �ff (Fortissimo)� and �Shiawase no Chikara�. �Our hearts are one," the singer said to the crowd. "There is a restriction to what we can do as artists, but we will do what we can.� She then added, �This is our first big step. We want to continue this as long as possible. But for that to happen, we need everyone�s help and strength.�

Actress Ishihara Satomi went to the venue on opening day once her drama filming ended. �Listening to Mrs. Akiko�s live moved me," she commented about the performance, looking full of awe. "I was truly moved from the depths of my heart. The power of music is amazing. I want to tell everyone about this power.

On the second day, Itano Tomomi, HI LOCKATION MARKETS, and Kariyushi58 joined the event. Itano - who performed �Dear J� and �Fui ni� on this day - said, �I want to be a part of the strength for the people of Tohoku, even if it is just a little bit." Afterwards, Wada Akiko wrapped up the special concert with a performance of �Ano Kane wo Narasuno wa Anata�.

Proceeds from the event go to their own charity program titled �Ano Kane wo Narasu no Anata Foundation�, which donates money to the Japanese Red Cross to aid victims of the earthquake.
