Japan Women�s Soccer Team AKA Nadeshiko Japan are currently on a phenomenal run for the 2011 FIFA Women�s World Cup, having just beaten Sweden during the semifinals 3-1 on July 13th.
In order to support the women as they take on Team USA in the finals, the Japan Football Association has decided to light up Tokyo Tower on the 17th to 18th from 7pm to 5am in the colors of the team�s uniforms: blue and white.
If the temperature is over 35C (95F), then the start time will be postponed an hour to conserve energy.
Japan will be playing USA on July 17th in Frankfurt, Germany � early July 18th Japan time.
