On July 5th, actress Kashii Yu (who's also the wife of Odagiri Joe) made an appearance at a CM promo event for Takeda Pharmaceutical�s �Hicee� in Tokyo. This is her first official public appearance since she gave birth to her baby boy back in February.

When asked about her lifestyle changes after her delivery, she said, �I became healthier. I wake up properly in the morning and sleep early. I'm the type of person who can sleep easily by nature but in a good way; I sleep less now compared to then.� A reporter asked, �Does your husband help you in raising your child?� She answered, �Well, yes, little by little. But, he just came back from overseas.�

Odagiri and Kashii met through the 2006 movie, �The Pavillion Salamander�. Kashii announced her pregnancy last year in September and their first child was born on February of this year.

This is the first �Hicee� CM in eight years, and so the brand wanted a �beauty who would root people with energy�. Deeming Kashii as the best choice for their CM, she will show the positive attributes of Vitamin C from �Hicee� with a good tempo. There will be two versions to this CM titled, �Iitoko Drink� and �C wo Torimasho�, both of which will start broadcasting nationwide on July 6th.
