Kato Seishiro, star of the upcoming 'Nintama Rantaro' movie, made an appearance with his fellow cast members at a premiere event in Kanagawa Rasona Kawasaki Plaza. This movie is the live action adaptation of a manga and anime series of the same title and Kato plays the role of a ninja in training, called Nintama. He comments, "My future dream was to become a ninja so I was very happy. It was my first time playing the lead role so I was nervous, but the shooting was fun". Sporting his ninja costume he shouted "A ninja is to have guts!" with 100 children in attendance.

Aside from Kato, fellow ninja trainee Hayashi Roi and Kimura Fuuta, as well as adult cast members, Miura Takahiro, Dan Rei, Matsukata Hiroki, Ishigaki Yuma, and Miike Takashi director made an appearance at the premiere event. Shooting took place last summer in the record breaking heat in Kyoto and Miura commented, "It was very hot being surrounded by all these kids but they gave me power and energy to make it through." Matsukata, who had alot of special make up for his role as Hieta Happosai, commented, "3 hours, and on top of that, it was heavy, but I was able to have fun," and even joking, "The kids were so noisy".

Miike Director commented, "Mainly the kids worked really hard but Hieta Happosai and Headmaster's (Hira Mikijiro) serious battle at the hot spring, was a scene I was so glad we got to shoot. It was a man's battle to be fought"�With confidence he also commented, "This summer there are big productions like Harry Potter and Pokemon coming out, but you will be able to say 'Nintama Rantaro' was number one".
