The final episode of "Marumo no Okite" starring child actress Ashida Mana, child actor, Suzuki Fuku, and actor Abe Sadawo aired on July 3rd. After the final episode aired, it was revealed that the average rating reached was 23.9 % (Kanto area: by Video�Research�Ltd.). �During the broadcast, the highest rating moment reached as high as 27.5%.

This drama was about a single man Takagi Mamoru (Abe) who is around 40 years old and decides to take care of his best friend's twins (Ashida and Suzuki) after the friend�passes away. They start growing a true bond as real family. �Though the rating for its first episode was 11.6 %, it started increasing as each episode aired. �Not only the drama itself, but also its ending theme song "Maru-Maru-Mori-Mori!" which Ashida and Suzuki sing under the name of "Kaoru to Tomoki tamani Mucc" gained popularity, and the dance named "Maru-Mori! Dance" became a popular dance mainly among kids.

After this drama, "Hanazakari no Kimi tachi e ~Ikemen?Paradise~ 2011" will start on the same time slot, and AKB48's Maeda Atsuko, Nakamura Aoi, and Miura Shohei who will star in "Hana Kimi" made guest appearance on the final episode of "Marumo no Okite."

During the ending of the final episode, it was also announced that they will air a special drama of "Marumo no Okite." (The broadcasting date is unknown yet.)
