Today, TV Asahi held a press conference for their upcoming drama "Hi Wa mata Noboru", starring Sato Koichi and Miura Haruma.

In the drama, Miura plays a trainee at a police academy, and so he had to crop his long hair for the part. The press were stunned by transformation, since Miura was rocking long hair for 7-8 years. Still, the star didn't mourn over the loss, as he said, "It's easy to wash and it dries very fast; it's just the right hairdo for summer. I might not return to my previous hairdo after this."

Sato, who turned 50 last year, plays an instructor at the academy. Commenting on his role, he said, c"I wouldn't have managed to pull off this role in my twenties. It took me half a century before I was able to play this role." He also talked about some of the things he was teaching Miura outside of the drama set. "How to drink alcohol the right way and things like that," he laughed.

Miura agreed, but slyly threw in, "I'm learning everything from Sato. His getting-drunk-fast-and-returning-home-early stance when filming begins early the next morning is particularly wonderful."

Actor Ikematsu Sosuke, actress Maya Miki, and other co-stars also attended the press conference.

"Hi Wa mata Noboru" will air every Thursday at 9pm, starting from July 21st.
