�Tokyo Koen�- director Aoyama Shinji�s first film in four years - will be shown at the 64th Locarano International Film Festival as part of the �international competition� category!

The event will take place in Switzerland this August. This marks Aoyama's fourth time as a participant, and his movie is expected to take first place at the festival.

Director Aoyama stated, �I'm just happy that such a laid-back Japanese film was selected (for this event). It really encourages me when I think that even now, things like these are accepted overseas." Miura also commented, �I am really happy that this movie was selected and will be shown at this international event. This work surrounds you with a lingering gentle feeling after watching it, so I hope this work will reach many people.�

Locarno International Film Festival is an annual event that's been occurring since 1946, and is one of the oldest film festivals in the world. Only two Japanese films have received the grand prize during this festival: the first being Jissoji Akio�s film, �Mujo� in 1970, and the second being Kobayashi Masahiro�s film, �Ai no Yokan� (or �The Rebirth�) in 2007.

�Tokyo Kouen� features Miura Haruma alongside a line-up of gorgeous actresses such as Eikura Nana, Konishi Manami, and Igawa Haruka, and is currently airing in theaters nationwide.
