On July 28th, it was revealed at musician Rei Harakami tragically passed away on the evening of the 27th.

According to the announcement posted on the official yanokami webpage,�the musician passed away due to a cerebral hemorrhage at 7:00 PM JST. He was only forty years old.

Rei Harakami made his debut in 1997 with the single "rei haraka ep", and has since released numerous albums. He's also�� produced works by Yano Akiko and UA, collaborated with multiple musicians for remixes, and formed the unit 'yanokami' with Yano Akiko in 2007. Prior to his sudden death, Harakami was planning to attend both "ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2011" and "Summer Sonic 2011".
