On July 20th, NMB48 (AKB48�s Namba, Osaka-based sister group) performed their debut song �Zetsumetsu Kurokami Shoujo,� on Mainichi TV�s �Chichin Puipui� program.

Before their mini-live performance, TV personality Sumi Junichi (66) tried to make the girls feel less nervous by making them laugh. He turned to Watanabe Miyuki (17), and teased, �You have the image of a baby,� causing the entire studio to laugh.

The song made it into 1st place on the Oricon Weekday Chart, but when asked about the promise to perform in bloomers, the group quietly answered � (It was lyricist) Akimoto Yasushi�s suggestion.�

Nevertheless, the members sang the song with enthusiasm and danced in front of 300 fans, who received the performance with generous applause. The Oricon ranking chart shows that the song continues to be in first place. As it stands, does this mean that the girls will be able avoid performing in their bloomers!?
