Talento Mishiro Akiko (65) - who's well-known to Japan as �Oba-chan 3gou� - has passed away due to multiple organ failure on July 27th.

According to her agency, she was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago due to her deteriorating health. Reportedly, she didn't reveal the details of her condition even to her agency so that she wouldn't worry them.

Her last performance was for TV Tokyo�s drama, �URAKARA�, where she guested on its second episode. Her interesting and unique character not only made her a popular star on variety shows, but also drew in many CM opportunities as well. Mishiro was a frequent guest on variety programs, �P-Sma� and �Downtown no Gaki no Tsukaiya Arahende!!�.

The late talento's funeral service will be a private affair, held only for her relatives.
