COMPLEX, the unit band comprised of singer Kikkawa Koji (45) and guitarist Hotei Tomoyasu (49), made a comeback with a spectacular show at the Tokyo Dome on July 31st. The concert marks an end to their 21-year hiatus from the music scene.
COMPLEX started up in 1988, but they had suspended their activities in 1990 with a final concert at the Tokyo Dome. They decided to reunite for a two-day charity live dedicated to the victims of the Tohoku earthquake; all profits from the concerts will go towards supporting the revival of the area.
Kikkawa greeted the audience with, "Thank you so much for gatheringto support therevival of Tohoku!"
COMPLEX performed many of their smash hits like "BE MY BABY", "Koi wo tomenaide", and "1990", causing the crowd of 50,000 to jump to their feet.
