On July 7th, talento Satoda Mai made an appearance at the e-Book International Expo wearing a lovely yukata for KDDI!

At the e-Book International Expo, Satoda read aloud 'The Galaxy Express 999' to attendees at the 'LISMO Book Store' booth. "People say that it's unexpected but my hobby is to read," she commented to the crowd. When asked about the e-reader, Satoda made the gadget seem more user-friendly as she replied, "It's easy to read. The words are very clear."

Satoda was also questioned about her relationship with professional baseball player Tanaka Masahiro. When asked if everything was going smoothly with her boyfriend, Satoda simply smiled. "We haven't been on a date lately," she said, referring to the fact that it is currently baseball season. "I admire yukata dates though."

July 7th is an annual holiday for Japan known as 'Tanabata'. The festival is based on the legend of the lovers Orihime and Hikoboshi -� represented by the stars Vega and Altair - who are separated by the Milky Way and can only meet once a year. "In Hokkaido, Tanabata is a month late and on August 7th. Now that I've moved to Tokyo I can enjoy Tanabata twice," said Satoda while modelling a pretty yukata for the Japanese summer festival. "When I lived in Hokkaido I used to wear yukatas and go to the firework festivals."

When asked what she wrote as her wish for Tanabata, she commented, "I wrote, 'Health first and may Japan be happy' for my wish". Another reported asked if she'd like to have a Tanabata wedding like fellow model Komori Jun, to which Satoda responded, "I'll do my best."
