On July 10th, after numerous auditions for the lead role of TV Asahis fall drama 'Ore no Sora Keiji Hen' (broadcasting every Sunday at 11 PM), it was finally decided that Fukuoka-born restaurant employee,Shounozaki Ken (23), is playing the lead role.
This drama is based on Motomiya Hiroshis manga of the same title. Shounozaki is playingYasuda Ippei -- the heir to a large conglomerate family who combats crime and is also very handsome standing at 181 cm (6'0"). It was reported that 2700 others auditioned for the role. Shounozaki, who passed through all the rounds of judging, shed tears as he said I am very happy and right now, my head is blank, but finally, I stand at the starting line.
Actor Nagai Masaru (33), set to play Ippei's rival in the drama, supportively stated that His cold stature and genuine. yet honest, eyes are impressive. I will try my best not to lose to him.
