Idol group SKE48 will begin their nationwide handshake event on July 31st in commemoration of their new single, �Pareo wa Emerald�, which was released on the 27th.

The girls will start at Tokyo�s Tokyo Big Sight before moving onto five more venues for a total of six handshake events. The event will be attended by 38 girls - 16 senbatsu members as well as the red team and white team. Unfortunately, Kuwabara Mizuki will not be able to make the Nagoya stop on August 6th.

To participate in the event, you must purchase SKE48�s single �Pareo wa Emerald�. However, the participation methods will be different for the mini handshake events on August 2nd to the 5th, so check out SKE48�s official website or their label�s webpage for more details.
