On July 28th, it was announced that actor Suzuki Ryohei got married to a non-celebrity who works for a web-related company. The two met six years ago, during Suzuki's modeling days, through a friend's introduction. It's also been revealed that his wife is six months pregnant at this time.

The wedding ceremony and reception were held on the 24th amongst their close relatives. Suzuki commented, "We hope to build a cheerful and thoughtful family that respects each other."

According to the agency, Suzuki was drawn to his partner because she did things at her own pace and she had something he felt he lacked. He knew he could live a better life with her, and decided to get married. The couple are already living together, and there are no plans for a press conference about the marriage.

Suzuki is currently starring in the Fuji TV drama, "Zenkai Girl". During the shoot on the 28th, actress Aragaki Yui gave her blessings, saying, "Congratulations, now you can really be an 'ikumen'. Please build a happy family." Suzuki also received bouquets from the staff, and commented, "I want to learn how to become a good 'ikumen'. I will continue to do my best as an actor."
