Four-member Korean ballad unit '2AM' has announced their plans to debut into Japan. They are a brother group to 2PM, who have already debuted, but these boys possess a soothing harmony that makes them easy to listen to at 2 in the morning. This is where the group gets their name.

2AM enjoyed various achievements back in their home country. In 2010, their single �Can�t Let You Go Even If I Die� was the most downloaded single, earning them a Golden Disc Award for the 'Best Digital Single'.

In Korea, when 2AM gets paired with 2PM, they are dubbed as �One Day� and even share the same training gym and office. The groups are looking forward to becoming �One Day� in Japan as well.

2AM will be the first chorus group from Korea to debut in Japan. The group plans on releasing a Japanese song at the beginning of next year, but they will be releasing their first album before that. On August 17th and 18th, 2AM�s agency, JYP Entertainment, will be holding a live event at the Saitama Super Arena, where they will host performances by their artists. 2AM and 2PM are both said to be excited to show their performances.

Meanwhile, the 2AM members say they want to become artists in Japan who are known for their sweet and interesting songs, and wish to be acknowledged for their skills as vocalists. 2AM wants to break the trend of �K-POP = Dance�, and show off their beautiful voices in Japan�s ballad scene.
