On July 30th and the 31st, rock band GLAY celebrated their fan club�s 15th anniversary at Makuhari Messe titled, �HAPPY SWING 15th Anniversary SPECIAL LIVE ~We <3 Happy Swing~�. For this special event, GLAY performed four cover songs including Arashi�s �Love so sweet� on the 30th and anime theme song for �Neon Genesis EVANGELION� titled �Zankoku na Tenshi no These (A Cruel Angel�s Thesis)� on the 31st. The fans screamed with joy by receiving this �present� from this four-member band.

To get close to the fans as possible, the venue featured a 360 degree stage and a passage to the audience that was 50m long to the east and west side of the stage along with a 100m long passage to the south and north side of the stage. In two days, GLAY performed a total of 44 songs which centralized on the �BEST 20� songs voted on their official website for a poll titled, �HAPPY SWING Kaiin Kentei Live de Anata ga Kikitai GLAY no Kyoku Best 20 (HAPPY SWING Member Restriction the Best 20 GLAY Songs You Want to Hear)�. 50,000 fans showed up for this performance.

At the conclusion of the live, member TERU said, �There were various occurrences, it is thanks to the people who are here and supported us that we were able to meet our 15th anniversary.� He continued after thanking the fans, �I would like to continue music earnestly and know the fans so that even five years in the future, there will be a lot of people we can meet for our 20th anniversary,� and ended the live with his smile.
