On July 7th, talento Sakai Masaaki (65) announced his marriage to a non-celebrity who's 22 years his junior. There are no plans for a ceremony, reception, or a press conference.

He wrote:

"These past 10 years, I've watched my two daughters grow from afar. That was my joy in my life.
Now that my children have matured, I looked back at my own life, and on August 6th, submitted a marriage registration with the woman I've been dating.

I am very happy to be welcomed by a wonderful partner at the age of 65.

Furthermore, we will not hold a ceremony or reception, but will only make this report. I ask from the bottom of my heart, please watch over us warmly."
