Nara Prefecture's record high is 35C (~95F), and just this month theyve already had three days that were extremely hot. To conserve electricity, Sento-kun, the mascot from Naras Prefectural Office, decided to give out a special fan to it's residents.
He ended up giving the fan to Renka-chan, Katsuragi citys official mascot. The prefectural office has already begun a PR campaign to conserve electricity and they've appointed Sento-kun to show how to get rid of the heat.
As soon as Sento-kun started using the fan, he was asked how he felt. Does it cool you off?, he was asked, but he didnt reply and just gave his approval with a nod.
