On August 10th, SKE48 member Matsui Jurina had to prematurely leave the group's handshake event at Pacifico Yokohama due to poor health conditions.

According to Matsui's blog, she became ill on the 8th, and was also absent from a SKE48 performance on the 9th. People close to Matsui stated, "It seems her fatigue has built up. She is being cautious and is resting at home."

Matsui came in 14th place for the AKB48 general elections in June, and became the second member out of SKE48 to make the ranking.
