Popular music duo Sukima Switch held a very special live event for 150 lucky fans to commemorate the release of their newest digital single, "Ishikoro Days". The event was called 'iTunes Live Sukima Switch' and it was hosted at the Apple Store in Shibuya.

It's the first time in nearly seven years that Sukima Switch held an in-store live, the last being in 2004 when they released 'Natsugumo Noise'. The duo commented, "Surprisingly, we get really nervous for these kind of performances, especially since it's the first time in seven years we're doing an in-store live. It's going to be a very precious day for us".

They kicked off their performance with "Sentimental Hometown", followed by other fan favorites such as "Zenryoku Shounen" and "Niji no Recipe". They also sang their newest song "Ishikoro Days", which was written with young junior high school students in mind. Sukima Switch also reflected on their debut days of singing to a crowd of only 50 people, as they performed their debut single "view".



Sukima Switch will be releasing their newest single "Hare tokidoki Kumori" on September 14th. This new song reflects on how our lives are like the constantly changing skies. It was written with the hope that two people could walk this ever-changing life together.
