Singer Superfly has announced that she will be releasing a new single, "Ai wo Kurae", on October 12th.

This announcement was made during her tour, "Superfly Tour 2011 'Mind Traveller'", on August 29th at Kanagawa Kenmin Hall. During the talk segment, she shouted, "I brought a new song!!", which made the crowd burst into cheers.

"Ai wo Kurae" is described to be a rock number filled with positive energy. Superfly wrote this song while thinking, "We each live out our own righteousness and walk the paths we believe. Even if we are turned away from the world and get laughed at, we put all our love into a song, and walk the paths we believe."

The song has already been picked up to be the theme song for the upcoming movie, "Smuggler � Omae no Mirai wo Hakobe". The movie's ending theme song, "I My Me Mine Mine", will also be included in the single as its coupling track.

Additionally, the DVD for the single will contain footage from her free concert at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, which was held to commemorate the release of her third album, "Mind Travel".
