Model/singer Tsuchiya Anna made an appearance for the press conference announcing her collaboration with Sanrio, particularly its 'Kuromi' character.

On August 3rd, Tsuchiya Anna traveled to the Sanrio headquarters in Tokyo, where she unveiled her special designs for the "ANNA X KUROMI" collection. The collection will utilize pieces made by EDWIN, one of the biggest clothing brands in Japan. The specialty items will include jeans, denim jackets, overalls, and T-shirts for both boys and girls.

Scheduled to hit stores in spring of 2012, this limited edition collection will begin pre-sales in December 2011.

Tsuchiya said, "I like flashy clothes. Kids tend to look good in such clothes, but oftentimes the colors for boys' clothes are subdued, like blue and green. As a parent, I want my kids to wear clothes that are cute and loud." Tsuchiya also commented about the skull mark on the items. "I like skulls. People have different faces and markings, but a skull means that all people are same. It's like a message, "Don't discriminate�people."

As Tsuchiya has two sons, she was asked if she wanted a girl for her third child. She responded, "I don't think about having a�third child, but I want to have a baby girl. [If I� have a baby girl], I want her to wear really girlish and cute clothes. I'm scared about when my sons introduce their girlfriends to me. If my son likes�a girl who looks like me, it�will be so much trouble (laughs)".
