Game company Square Enix announced at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) this past weekend that they'll be re-releasing the popular game, "Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland" on the Nintendo 3DS.

Originally released on the Nintendo Game Boy in 1998, this remake will see some variance with its monsters. Players will encounter monsters from previous series like "Dragon Quest Joker 2 Professional" (DQM-J2P), in addition to new ones.

According to producer Inuzaka Taichi, the staff are planning something new and will "film to more perfection", indicating that the game is still being developed. Fans were delighted when they heard that the original development staff were brought back for this exciting remake.

"Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland" is slated for release sometime in 2012.
